How to market online successfully and profit

The internet is one of the lowest cost advertising method
and requires the least human resource available. However,
many business owners do not understand that. They spend
over tens or hundreds of thousands paying for the website
but there’s no justification for the return of investment
(ROI). For big companies, it’s ok if there is no immediate
ROI because they have the fund to advertise but what about
smaller companies?

When you create your website, you must have a purpose. Is
it created to sell or just as a content provider?

I have a 2 page mini website that it cost me less than

RM 100.00 to maintain but it makes money for me each

When you create a website (no matter whether it’s a company
website or individual), you must think as a marketer and
not a programmer or designer. A sophisticated and impressive
site might not sell, but a website that can communicate with
the visitor will be able to prompt them to take action.

Internet business is as much similar as conventional
business. It requires building relationship and using human
psychology to trigger the visitor to take immediate action.

I’ve been ask by many business people around the world to
review their sites as they are complaining why it’s not
making money. Most of the websites are not making money
because there is no ‘personal touch’ or lack of purpose of
the site to the visitor.

You need to use the internet to market your business
whether you are a multi million dollar businesses or one
person business. The reason is, you can automate most of
your online transaction and the internet offers you a very
powerful leverage.

An example, at the time I’m writing this article there is a
chance that my website is making money for me and it’s
almost all automated. It does not require my attention.

Lastly, marketing online can be implemented to almost any
business that you are doing. There are no boundaries to it,
whether you are selling books, insurance, healthcare
products and etc.
