Today’s Sunday Email is not going to be of much rants (unlike my past 54 Sunday Emails), but more towards of what I like to share about attaining more success with internet marketing and online businesses.

Here are 5 of them for your leisure reading:

Be Innovative (Or Perish) – It’s actually easy to make lots of money online, especially in the internet marketing niche. Here are the two mistakes of newbies when they try to penetrate the internet marketing niche:

i . They come up with another “old” product idea. An old product idea is like a course teaching about product creation or blogging. Those are nothing new at all and there are plenty of similar courses out there.

ii. They are being creative. There’s nothing wrong for being creative but don’t expect it to be a trend setter if you’re a newbie without strong influence in the marketplace. Secondly, if it’s too new, people might not “get it” or ready to test it out.

Be innovative. Just see what are quite successful and improve upon them. In fact, you can just spot them in Clickbank.com directly, it’s really a no-brainer.

ii. Know less, do more. Most people are unaware of this, but I’ve been exploring the domain name opportunity for the past several months. In fact, until now, it’s still a new game for me. But here’s the thing – the more I know, it seems like it’s ‘harder’ for me to make money with domains because I’m so overwhelmed with too many resources and options. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS TO LEARN ABOUT DOMAINS. Here’s the interesting part – I’ve started selling domains successfully when I’m doing nothing fancy, as simple as just putting it in Sedo.com. Once sold, buy more domains. The point is, sometimes, you just need to know less and do more of what you already knew. (If you want to stay updated with domains and website offers, subscribe on the update list for free at www.VREInvestors.com.)

iii. Need A Team. After spending about 18 months with Robert Allen, I’ve learned a lot of success lessons from him, directly and indirectly. One of the things that I’ve noticed about Robert is, he is a master of creating a “dream” team, in fact, a talented team. Be willing to share your piece of cake and you’ll get a good team to be with you. By the way, if you want to know what are the 5 other million-dollar lessons I’ve learned from Bob, you can watch it in Youtube for free, http://youtu.be/J6UCnFZ3DMI

iv. Asian Market. Apparently, for the past 12 months, I’ve seen an encouraging rise of customers and clients from Asia market – for my online product sales. Doesn’t matter if you’re an Asian or a Caucasian, I would suggest you to not leave out the Asia market, especially in 2012. I’m predicting that it’s going to boom further, much bigger. China would be a little bit too hard to penetrate because it’s an eco-system of its own but there’s a huge market for Singapore and Malaysia. Not to leave out Japan, but with Japan, you probably need your stuff to be in Japanese.

v. Take A Risk. You see, I’ve taught thousands of people to make money online and to start internet businesses. I’m not pointing this fact out to be ego or whatsoever, but to lead to this simple fact – most of them who achieved success are those who are willing to take risks. For instance, risk of losing other things (mainly time and money). Take the iconic leader, Steve Jobs as a brilliant example – I heard his salary as the CEO of Apple is only $1. Do you think he’s going to achieve success with Apple when his bank account is going to depend solely on his performance? Now, that’s “risky”. But then, that’s what leaders do – they take risk so that their reward in return is gigantic.

I hope some of these so-called “word of wisdom” could be handy to you in anyway for your success in 2012. Whether it does or not, it is my sincere wish that you’ll experience greater success next year and years to come.

Looking forward to grow with you further, to the next level.

You “Chan” Do It!

Patric Chan

Here’s how to take it and turn it into a $197 information product…

First, increase the perceived value.

Free information is perceived to have a low value, especially free blog posts.

For instance, ebooks have a perceived value of $7 to $28.

Then a mp3 audio products are generally perceived at around $47.

Downloadable videos can be perceived up to $97 a piece.

Software is perceived anywhere between $97 to the $1,000s.

These are estimates based on studying marketing and observing prices. Some might disagree but that’s okay.

Turn your ebook into a form of downloadable media with higher perceived value by doing it yourself or hire someone to do it cheaply at Elance.com.

If you want to do a screen captured video, use Camtasia or a cheaper program like it. (Camtasia can be found at camtasia.com or techsmith.com/camtasia). CamStudio is free, but of less quality.

Then, add the right packaging to Increase perceived value even more.

Let’s say you took your free ebook and turned it into a 4-hour-long screen capture instructional video course and you’re selling it now for $97. If you offer 50% commissions to affiliates, you can have a ton of Super Affiliates promoting the quality product that has high value and high perceived value for $43.50 per commission.

For instance, originally, I wanted to turn Local Niche Secrets into a multi-media video course and sold it for $97 instead because it really has great content but as an ebook, I can’t fetch high price. But didn’t turn out well as the freelance fella never completed his job although he already got paid 50%.

What if I told you that by making two minor adjustments that you could triple the cost of this product and it’ll still have value?

Here’s what you do.

1) Call it a “course.”

2) Go to your graphics guy and tell him, “Instead of creating a graphic for just one 4-hour-video, make it look like 5 DVDs in a bulk package.”

Infomercials have proven time and time again that bulk packages out-pull single packages 5 to 1, because of higher perceived value.

Now you have a bulk package that you could sell for even $ 197 or more. If it’s a course in bulk, the perception of your product will be that it’s an investment by which there will be a return.

Before you can get your customer to want to buy your product, they need you to give them another big reason why.

You need to make it look like your product’s price is a drop in the bucket compared to the benefits that the prospect is getting!

So we do two things:

1) Pile on quality bonuses like audios, reports, interviews, you name it. This increases value.

2) You need a USP, a Unique Selling Proposition. You’ll need something of high perceived and unique value to close the deal. In your case, you could offer mentoring from your own online mentoring school or a free critique or free coaching of some kind.

These two things significantly increase the perceived value as well as the actual value of your product and now service as well. A prospect passionate about your subject would be willing to invest $197 as a one-time fee for $1,000s of dollars worth of products and services on your topic.

The great news is anyone can do this with a how-to ebook.

So that’s how you go from giving away a free ebook to making an easy $197 per day or more on the internet (and that’s just 100 visitors to your sales page per day converting at an average 1%). No guaranteed results of course.

And here’s the best kicker – even if you can’t sell it for $197, you would now ‘effortlessly’ sell it for $47.

Disclaimer: Don’t ever apply this tactic if you know that your product does not have that kind of content. You’re just increasing the value for how much you should be paid so that you’re not underpaid for your content.

I have spots opening for February’s one-on-one coaching if you need a coach to work with you personally. 10 spots and if you miss, you got to wait for March then. No long salesletter, just straight to the point description —> http://www.rps2coaching.com/signup.html.

Take care,

This is important, because having a domain name that is appropriate or related to the primary subject matter of your site makes it easier for both human visitors and the search engines to understand what your site is about from that domain name.

It also helps when you are promoting your business a little further down the line, so choosing the domain name that is directly related to your topic has plenty of value to your business.

I mentioned that sometimes, you will choose a domain name that is related to a product or service that you are promoting. This is most appropriate if you were going to create your own product as in this case, you would try to give the product a name that is directly related to your subject matter.

Hence in this situation, the topic of your site, product name and the domain name you choose would all logically tie together very neatly.

For example, if you were going to make your own product that is specifically related to boxer dog training, you would choose a name for your product where the appropriate domain name is still available.

If you were going to create ‘The Boxer Training Bible’ for example, you would check that the same domain name is available before starting the product creation process.

As every domain name on the internet has to be unique (there is, for example, only one Google.com or yahoo.com), if someone else has already grabbed the name, you cannot do so.

Because every domain name is unique, you should try to come up with a list of the least half a dozen viable alternative names before beginning the registration process. By doing so, you ensure that a least one of the names which you are considering registering is still available.

In the current scenario, the primary thrust of the site that you are considering building is to give people information about dog training and in particular, how to train boxer dogs. Consequently, it makes sense to focus on boxer dog training when you are registering your domain name.Similar Posts:

People have and always will be prepared to pay for information in ebook format.

You see, one of the strongest human desires is to learn, to be educated and to better ourselves, no matter what the subject is. It could be …

To live longer and healthier, to be a better parent, partner or lover, to raise children well, to earn more money, to work fewer hours or to own a nicer home or faster car, maybe play a sport better or even just bake tastier cakes, everyone wants information and nearly all would be prepared to pay for it.

Ebooks have become desirable because of their instant nature. Once ordered, all the info I need is downloaded onto my PC. No hassle, no waiting, no fuss. Instant gratification.

Have you bought an ebook online before?

If yes, that’s the proof it works.

As an “InfoPublisher” you can earn a substantial income and put in far less hours than the average person working the 9 to 5 treadmill by selling ebooks. You can fit in work time when it is
convenient and from the comfort of your own home.

Alternatively you can put the knowledge here to work for only a couple of hours each week and you can still make a healthy second income (if you want to keep your job). How hard you work and how much you make is up to you. But nothing comes for free. . .

YOU MUST BE PREPARED TO LEARN AND THEN TO PUT INTO PRACTICE – IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL, IF YOU DON’T YOU WILL FAIL.

I cannot express this strongly enough, you would be amazed at just how many people FAIL simplybecause they do not take action.

What Type Of eBook Will People Buy?

The answer is simple – almost any type as long as it offers a solution to a problem.

There are thousands of people interested in thousands of topics the secret is: Discover a need, target the market and feed it.

What Is Your eBook’s USP?

If you’re scratching your head, you’re not alone because many authors couldn’t tell you what’s a USP.

An ebook’s Unique Selling Proposition (USP) is a single, unique benefit that makes your ebook stand out from your competitors. Even before you start to add any words to your ebook, you must establish what it is.

It should influence everything you write.

It should be the one unique strength or advantage you and only you deliver because there are tons of other ebooks with the same topic as you have.

All the best to your ebook business.

Warmest regards,
